Disruptions to Bus Routes Expected Due to Road Closures in Town of Yarmouth

As part of a layered COVID-19 response and at the direction of Public Health, a thorough and detailed review of all ventilation systems was performed to ensure all schools in TCRCE have well-maintained ventilation systems operating as designed before the Fall 2020 school semester. Out of an abundance of caution, these checks will continue through the 2021-22 school year. Checks included windows, filter maintenance, lubrication and electrical and controls. Much of this work was regular preventative maintenance tasks that would be due or coming due shortly. Ventilation system checks are part of the Provincial Back to School Plan and were one of the several public health safety measures that have contributed to a successful first semester with our students learning in-class and in-person.
