Parent/Guardian Concern Protocol:

TCRCE has a process in place to help you reach the right person if you have a concern.

Here are the steps when a parent/guardian has a concern:

1. The first point of contact is your child’s Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or teacher.

2. If your concern is remains unresolved, contact the school Principal.

3. If your concern is not resolved, complete this online concern form or call TCRCE at 902-749-5818 and someone will review your concern and provide you with information, supports, and/or refer your concern to the Family of Schools Supervisor.

4. The Family of Schools Supervisor will work with you to find a solution.

5. If your concern remains unresolved, you can initiate a formal process by contacting the Director of Programs & Student Services who will investigate the concern.

6. The final step, if the concern remains unresolved, is contacting the Regional Executive Director. Please do not contact the Regional Executive Director until all other steps have been followed.1.
